What the price depends on

How much material you bring. The expensive part is not finding the rhymes: it is understanding who you are. If you arrive with your story already in order, it goes quickly. If the lyrics have to be built from nothing, it takes more work and it shows in the price.

How many tracks. The brief is done once: understanding how you speak, where you come from and what you want to say serves one track as well as ten. That is why three tracks cost less than three times one.

Whether you need it in another language. A singable translation starts at 450 euros a track, and costs more than writing a new one: sense, stress and rhyme all have to work at once.

What you need beyond the words

This is where an honest quote parts company with a nasty surprise. We write the words. To have a song people can listen to you need two more things, and you pay for them elsewhere.

The beat. If you took it from YouTube among the so-called type beats, the free download is the version with the producer’s tag over it, fine for trying things out. To release properly you buy the licence from the producer: it starts at about thirty euros. You buy it, in your own name, so it stays yours.

The voice. Recording, mixing and mastering are done by a studio, or by you if you are set up for it. We deliver the lyrics cut to the metre of your beat, bar by bar, marked with where each section comes in: whoever records has nothing to rework.

What it costs with us

Half on signature, half on delivery. Revisions are included and written into the contract.

And the lyrics become entirely yours: you can register them in your own name as sole author, record them, assign them to a label. They go out under your name, yours alone.
